Jessica + Luke {Orange County Maternity Photographer}

It was just about a year ago when we had the pleasure of shooting Jessica & Luke getting married!

Jess and I met through a mutual friend, Nat, in Viva La Vegas for our birthdays. My 30th and Nat's 25th.

Jess is a bit shy (until you get to know her!) and has one of the sweetest hearts I've known. Luke, on the other hand, is VERY funny. Total outgoing social guy. Every time I see them together I just see Jess light up and laugh really hard, they perfectly complement one another.

Of course, she is ridiculously gorgeous pregnant. You wouldn't even know standing behind her in the grocery line. She is just so tiny and and such a fit body. We had such a blast during this session! Even Nat joined us, afterward we ordered take-out food and gabbed like three hens.

Luke popped in for a couple Mommy and Daddy-to-be pictures but was out the door in 5 minutes flat. Surprisingly, he HATES having his picture taken. You never would know by seeing these. I think they are going to such great parents!

Congrats to you Jessica & Luke! I can't wait to meet 'Baby H!'

Karla & Mike {Orange County Maternity Photographer}

Karla and I met about seven years ago. We bonded instantly over our mutual love for Gwen Stefani. I mean, who doesn't love Gwenny Gwen Gwen?

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of documenting Karla and, her high school sweetheart, Mike's love. And now as they open their chapter into parenthood, I couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of capturing these new family moments for them. Excitement hit a new high when they announced they were expecting not one but TWO girls!

I can't wait to get them both in front of my lens. Twice the baby fingers and toes to love.

Shoe Fetish {Orange County Wedding Photographer}

ok so I may or may not be slightly obsessed with shoes.....tall ones, short ones, flat ones, high ones, all colors, shapes and sizes. This obsession does not end with the over whelming pile in my closet, I also L.O.V.E to photograph them. A person's shoes is a direct reflection of their personality. A picture of just their shoes speaks a thousand words........

After spending 2 hours this morning shopping on line for even more shoes I decided it was time to take the first step in dealing with an addiction Admit you have a problem

Katrina + Paul {Temecula Engagement Photographer}

We had the greatest day out in Temecula with Katrina + Paul. We found some amazing wood buildings that made for perfect backdrops. The texture and colors were near perfect.

Katrina is one lucky girl being much shorter than Paul because she will NEVER be limited in the hot hot hot heels department. Check out her shoes!! I think I'm in love.

Favorite Wedding Locations: Levyland {Carlsbad Wedding Photographer}

Levyland is an amazing private residence on the water in Carlsbad.

The list of reasons why this is one of our favorite venues to shoot is endless: the architecture, the textures, the exposed ceilings, the lush landscape, the breathtaking views - just to name a few.

And oh, the details! A mix of nature, concrete modern, the angles and colors is like a dream come true.

And certainly a gorgeous couple makes for an amazing day of shooting. An easy going couple who didn't skip a beat when the rain came down on wedding day.

We just adore this wedding party shot.

Greens, browns and reds definitely go together.

What's not to love? This accurately captures the bride's personality!

Again, I love shooting portraits. There is something about being one on one with someone and pulling out there inner beauty or sexiness that they didn't realize they have. Seeing how happy and surprised they are with the end result is so validating. It makes you feel like you know or understand a side of them they didn't know they have. Theses are the quiet moments that I love and that make me have the passion I do for photography.... seeing things others don't.

This is Karla....so painfully beautiful and dosen't even know it.

I spent the day in the park with Susan and her son Joey. One of the most enjoyable photo shoots I've done..... Friday afternoon cocktails and conversation about life on the patio turned into fun in the sun with Susan's infectious laughter keeping me in stitches.

Neither liked getting their picture taken...so we just enjoyed ourselves in the park making fun of each other, playing on the swing set and being natural....

Annie and Brian got married at dusk on the Newport Princess in the Newport Harbor.

Brian is full of life and Annie was a beautiful bride with a great sense of humor.... We had some great laughs in the "miniature" bride room where I had to stand on the couch just to get her in the shot.....

This couple was so much fun to shoot, although Luke hated being photographed he had such a funny sense of humor which made the whole thing allot more fun and as you can see Jessica photographed flawlessly.... Just so you know an Auger event is not one you miss, especially when it is a wedding.
When my good friend Jo Jo married Chris (which I got to say, such a RAD guy) their wedding was the coolest, funnest, most raging weddings of all time. Now that I am planning my own wedding I only hope it measures up to the time I had celebrating their life together.
I wasn't an official photographer at her wedding BUT true to form, I couldn't help but take some shots.
Here is some of what I caught as I partied through the night....
